What is the difference between the EuroMillions and EuroJackpot lotteries?

From a gameplay perspective, EuroMillions and EuroJackpot are similar; both lotteries require you to pick 5 numbers from 50, and 2 supplementary numbers. The supplementary numbers are where the difference becomes clear as you must pick 2 supplementary (Star) numbers from 8 for the EuroJackpot and for the EuroMillions you must pick 2 supplementary numbers from 12.
The EuroJackpot organisers guarantee a weekly minimum jackpot of €10 million, with a maximum jackpot of €90 million. The EuroMillions is much larger in comparison, with a minimum of €17 million available at each of the two weekly draws (i.e. €30 million weekly), with a maximum jackpot size of a whopping €200 million!
The winning numbers for the EuroJackpot are drawn every Friday in Helsinki (Finland), while the EuroMillions has two weekly draws on Tuesdays and Fridays in Paris (France).
A great tip for EuroMillions fans — whenever there’s a Friday draw coming up with a low jackpot check out our EuroJackpot page, as it may well have a bigger jackpot, and at great odds too!

How do I play?

Go the EuroMillions playslip and for each line simply tick the Magic Million box after you’ve picked your numbers and, once you’ve paid, your Magic Million game will begin automatically.

If your account has been verified simply proceed to your account and withdraw your winnings. If your account has not been verified you will first need to provide proof of your ID and proof of address. Once this has been confirmed you will be able to withdraw your winnings.

Is the payout guaranteed? How do I know?

At Lottoland we can guarantee you will be paid out on your winnings — regardless of the jackpot amount.

At Lottoland you bet on the outcome of the official draw. For all intents and purposes you will have the exact same customer experience as if you were playing the official lottery. The key difference is that we take your bet and we pay you if you win. We are able to achieve this in two ways.

For smaller prize tier payments we make the payment directly from the fund we have from the total ticket sales.

In order for us to make the larger prize tier payments we take out insurance policies to cover the eventuality of a Jackpot win or a substantial payout on the Lotto ticket. Part of the Lotto ticket price you pay goes towards the payment of this policy.

We are registered with and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, the Gibraltar Gambling Commission, and the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland. In order for us to retain these licences we have to prove that we are able to make the required payouts to our players should they win and that we have the correct procedures in place to guarantee this.

What is a Subscription?

Subscriptions remove the hassle of buying repeat lines and the fear of missing out on that big jackpot win. Our Subscription feature allows you to set up a running ticket or tickets on a given lottery draw. The subscription is open ended and will run for as long as you want it too. You can opt out at any time.

Why should I play EuroMillions at Lottoland?

The EuroMillions is Europe’s most popular draw and you can play with us and win all the same main game prizes with us. In addition to this, you can take advantage of a range of exclusive features such as DoubleJackpot, Subscriptions and JackpotHunt that you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re a new customer, we’ll also give you your first line free.

Features

The EuroMillions iOS app has been rebuilt from the ground up to provide a first-class user experience. Take a look at some of the great features that make this app the only one any EuroMillions player needs.

Ticket Scanner (UK only)

The new app lets you scan your lottery ticket to find out whether you’ve won a prize in an instant. All you need to do is open the scanner and point your device’s camera at the QR code on your ticket. You’ll be shown all the numbers you’ve matched in recent draws and what prizes you’ve won. It’s the fastest and easiest way to check whether your ticket is a winner.

The Latest Verified Results

Be the first to see the latest EuroMillions results. The winning numbers are visible in the app straight after they have been checked by our Results Verification team, who ensure that the results you see are delivered accurately as well as quickly.

In addition to the winning numbers you can view full prize breakdowns showing the value of the prizes won. Find out how many ticket holders won and whether the jackpot was hit or if it rolled over. You can also view the results from supplementary games, including the UK Millionaire Maker raffle and Spain’s El Millón.

Customisable Notifications

Use customisable notifications to tailor the Euro-Millions.com app to your needs. If you only play EuroMillions on a Friday, for instance, you can choose to only receive notifications about Friday results. You can also set jackpot alerts so you are the first to find out when the EuroMillions jackpot reaches a certain amount or rolls over a certain number of times.

Multi-Line Ticket Checker

Save all your numbers and check them all at once with the Multi-Line Ticket Checker. You’ll be shown any prizes won on each individual ticket as well as the total amount won from all the lines you entered. You can also exclude your tickets from draws in which you don’t play. It’s a great option for syndicates and those who play multiple tickets in every draw.

Multi-Line Ticket Checker

The Multi-Line Ticket Checker saves multiple entries and checks them against the most recent results, which is a great option for syndicates and those who play multiple tickets in every draw. You’ll see any prizes won on each ticket as well as the total amount won from all the lines you entered. You can also exclude your tickets from draws in which you don’t play.

Lucky Dip Generator

Use the app’s Lucky Dip generator to create a set of random numbers to enter into upcoming draws. When you buy a Lucky Dip from a shop you have to stick with the first set of numbers you’re given, but that’s not the case with this generator – you can keep using it until you get a line you like.

EuroMillions Results Archives

Use the new app to access Euro-Millions.com’s extensive archive of results, dating back to the very first draw in 2004. You can view every winning number that has appeared in EuroMillions draws and find the historical results from supplementary games such as the UK Millionaire Maker.

Language Support

The EuroMillions iPhone or iPad app is offered in English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
